Amanda’s Academy of Dance

Amanda’s Academy of Dance is located in Downtown La Crosse, Wisconsin. We provide instruction for young children, teens and adults in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Pointe, Lyrical, Hip-Hop, Musical Theater, Irish, Modern, Middle Eastern and Ballroom Dance.

Big Blue Dragon Boat Races

The Dragon Boat Race is a fresh and exciting event promoting community health and teamwork while also raising awareness of breast cancer. Dragon boat teams include community members, local enthusiasts, breast cancer survivors and supporters, corporate colleagues and others teams from across the country.

Bill Blank Airshow

Bill is a senior AME and retired Ophthalmologist. He began flying aerobatics 34 years ago when he took a 10-hour aerobatic course from airshow pilot, Pete Meyers and has been teaching aerobatics for 29 years. He began flying airshows in 1987 and obtained a level 1 surface waiver in 1989. He has flown in over 160 airshows and given over 1400 hrs. of aerobatic flight instruction mostly in Decathlons. Bill has over 5000 hours total time and 3700 in a Decathlon. He holds an ASEL. MEL, and SES ratings and also has COMM and CFII ratings.

Cheap Trick

CHEAP TRICK may be one of the most covered bands of all time. Since the 70s they’ve been blending elements of pop, punk and even metal in a way that is instantly catchy and recognizable. With timeless classics such as “I Want You to Want Me,” “Surrender,” and “The Flame,” CHEAP TRICK are a musical institution. Anyone familiar with Comedy Central’s The Colbert Report will note that CHEAP TRICK wrote and performed the theme song.

ClogJam

ClogJam Cloggers have been performing in the La Crosse area for 8 years. They will be performing to a variety of music including Bluegrass, Country, Irish and some fast and furious pop numbers. We will also have a tribute to our US Military at the conclusion of our show. Lessons are taught at the historic Doerflinger Building in downtown La Crosse. Fayme Rochelle and the Waxwings are a 5 piece acoustic band playing an energetic blend of Americana originals and Foot stompin Bluegrass music.
Fayme Rochelle fronts the band on guitar and vocals, Tripp Evenson on banjo and guitar, Joni Welda on fiddle and mandolin, Terry Nirva on drums and Andrew Steeno on upright bass.

Misty’s Dance Unlimited

Dance is a Performing Art! Every year at the end of May, Misty’s Dance Unlimited produces 5 fully staged, professional recitals at Viterbo University. Little kids are involved in one of the five shows, while high school students can be involved in as many as all five. Our recital is attended by almost 4,000 people each spring and is the largest event for children in the area. Children grow in confidence and competence with every performance!

One Last Run

Sponsored by the La Crosse Track Club, this is an event for people of all ages and heights. This is a great chance for athletes to continue vaulting in the summer in front of a large crowd! The competition will be held in the grass overlooking the river. There is a 10 inch raised rubber runway and the biggest and safest pits available for athletes. Riverfront Singers

The Riverfront Singers is one of the many recreational
programs sponsored by Riverfront.

The Singers have been performing together for many years. They perform for churches and community events throughout the year. Members of the community are welcome to join the group as well. Listening to the Singers encourages people to appreciate and celebrate the dignity, diversity, and gifts of people of all abilities.

In 2005, the Rockin’ Riverfront Singers began rehearsing in Janesville. Today, the group is growing in numbers and is finding a rewarding way to share their live of music.

The Ski Sprites Water Ski Show Team is an organization located in Altoona, Wisconsin. Our members come from all over the Chippewa Valley to perform for you on Lake Altoona! Our team has performed regularly in the summer months and competed in tournaments across the state since 1960.

Forming as a string band in the Spring of 2003 in La Crosse, WI, the band has since evolved its sound into what is only classified as “Blues-grass n’ Roll,” stretching musical boundries yet with a driving influence stemming from their bluegrass and blues roots. Studdebaker 7

Studebaker 7 was originally formed in 1973 for a 50′s style fraternity party, the band went onto perform for 14 years thereafter. The highlight for Studebaker 7 was performing for three consecutive years at Milwaukee Summerfest. Studebaker 7 recorded two records in the 1970′s with “One Fine Day” reaching Number 2 on the Midwest Top 40 Pop chart. The band broke up in 1987. After a 15 year hiatus the band reformed in 2002 with six original members. Since reuniting, Studebaker 7 has been the opening act for Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show and 1964-The Tribute, The Number 1 Beatles Tribute Show in the World. Studebaker 7 is entertaining to watch and fun, dance and sing along with to. It will be an experience you’ll never forget.

Although The Remainders seek to put smiles on the faces of music lovers everywhere, the true objective of the band is to provide therapy to a bunch of older working stiffs that need to keep their heads screwed on straight (Kennedy would vehemently object to this statement – he is in his mid-30′s and his threads have been stripped since 1984). When you watch The Remainders live, you’ll be looking at 5 guys who truly just want to have fun and are enjoying every minute and every note.

This Could Be The Day

Singer Matt and Drummer Matt, once members of defunct La Crosse bands Clair Juice and Wake Up Young, began writing music as This Could Be the Day in August of 2007. They recorded their first album, “Defeatist”. In early 2010, they joined forces with Bassist Dave and eventually recorded their sophomore effort, “Broadcast Your Shame”.

Warriors Baton and Drum Corps

The Warriors Baton & Drum Corps
was established in 1963 as a non-profit
parade and competition Corps.
We are a self-supporting, non profit youth organization based in La Crosse, WI, with members from various local communities in Wisconsin and Minnesota. Becoming a member of the Warriors not only offers several years of a quality youth organization, but also an opportunity to develop life long friendships and lasting memories.
